Yep apparently I am blogging now. I decided to blog for a couple of reasons- first I wanted a place for my family/friends who are far away to have a way to keep up with the life and times of our family and especially my Goose (Charlotte) who changes literally every day. You know, a little more than a facebook status update every couple of days. Secondly, I wanted a place to chronical all of the hilarious/cute/awesome things Goose does for her to read when she gets a little older. Aside from her baby book I havent been good about writing down all of the things she does and lately she is doing something new EVERY day! So here it is folks- the life and times of mommy (and daddy) of a Goose :)
Charlotte has been having sporatic interest and success with potty training. She had a rather large sucess this morning so we had a clapping, praise-filled morning! After daycare we went to the park for a while to play on the new (and very fun!) part of the playground behind the elementary school. Goose has ZERO fear and walked up some precarious looking steps with little assistance from an aprehensive mommy and then flew down the "big girl blue slide" Daddy-o got some of this on video with my phone but the quality/length of it isnt worth throwing up here. Due to the lightening and thunder shower we headed home. Goose called Gaga to wish her a happy birthday aka "happy day". She is talking much clearer lately! She is also repeating things on comand and like a parrot all of a sudden in her three or four word paraphrasing way. Its fantastic! We are heading to a birthday party tomorrow for my co-workers ADORABLE daughter :) This will be my first trip EVER to Chuck E. Cheese....at noon....on a Saturday.....should be an adventure! Im bringing the "big camera" ie: my BEAST of a camera the Cannon Rebel EOS so I should have some awesome pics to post tomorrow :) Have a great Friday!
