Puddle Stomping and Bed Jumping

Hello Again Everyone!

After our big adventure to feed the ducks and play at the playground we came back to our house for a BBQ. We pulled out the "kiddie" table for the first time ever. Its kind of weird to see Goose big enough to sit anywhere outside of her high chair but I am getting used to it. At any rate, here is a picture of the big kid table

After dinner C&C had some desert....see the pictures below of C&C  eating desert while watching elmo....Carter always finds the hilarity in Charlotte's desert eating habits :)

Last but certainly not least from Sunday's events....."bounce it" or jumping on the bed with Charlotte and Carter :)

After some serious shopping with Jen (Carter's mom) Monday, Charlotte and Carter's Dads got rained out at the playground so we all met up at our house to play with the kiddos. Carter and Charlotte had a blast playing outside in the puddles, with the wagon, and Charlotte's Cozy Coupe :)

Super fun weekend! Looking forward to the coming weekend when we get a visit from Papa and go apple picking (for the first time!) with Carter and his family :)

Ducks and Playgrounds!

Hello everyone!

We had SUCH a fun weekend this weekend! On Sunday we took Charlotte to feed the ducks in Deering Oaks Park for the first time with Carter, his mom, and his dad. The kiddos were SUPER cute feeding the ducks and (SURPRISE) the sea gulls. These sea gulls were the most aggressive, cut-throat sea gulls I have EVER seen. The ducks didnt have a chance at the bread. We also played at the park at deering oaks....I am finding that as my picture taking improves I am having a harder and harder time finding only a couple pics to put up for each thing.  See below for playground pics...I can assure you these are only a FEW of the many I took LOL

Ok so now for my FAVORITE pictures....the ones of Carter and Charlotte together :) They are RIDICULOUSLY cute together...see below for just a COUPLE of the pics :)

Place of Peace

Hey Everyone!

Growing up on the coast I have always found being near the ocean incredibly peaceful. I have found that any time I am on overload at work or in life I find my way to the ocean. My favorite place tends to be Willard Beach in South Portland. Its the best of all worlds- especially if you have kiddos. It is a beautiful sand beach that you can build castles, find shells, watch boats AND there is an awesome playground right in the sand :) Fried dough would have made it perfect but the snack shack was closed (boo!)

We took an impromtu trip there today. It isnt really a place to swim so we didnt bring bathing suits or anything but somehowwww Charlotte ended up completly soaked and covered with sand :) We had a blast. I was admittedly the mama-ratzi today but Willard has such incredibly scenery I couldnt resist...especially when she chased or hollared at the sea gulls.....shes too much!

SUPER looking forward to tomorrow! Gaga is coming down AND we are hanging out with Carter and his Mom and Dad :) Wooo!

Ohhhh Irene!!!!

Ohhhh Irene!

So if you follow my little blog youve noticed I havent posted in ohhhhh five days or so because I havent had power for four of those days! Irene ripped through this area and most everyone lost power but we REALLY lost power! Before we lost power and it got REALLY windy we played outside in the rain as it was nearly 80 degrees out....Please see below Miss Charlotte in her L.L. Bean Turtle Rainboots and Jacket :)

Thankfully we have such great friends who let us come to their house (their house with POWER) to shower/bathe :) The pictures below are of Goose and her best friend/ main squeeze Carter....I know, I know, I say it all the time but seriously.....how freakin cute are these two together???

Charlotte and I got to play outside for a while this afternoon...The more comfortable I get with the Cannon Rebel the more I seem to take it everywhere! Everything turns into a photo-shoot LOL. See below for some randoms from outside play :)

Last but not least....I am devestated that missy is leaving as Charlottes daycare teacher :(  Tomorrow is Goose's last day with Missy so we made cupcakes for her class and a mini-cake for her birthday (which is also tomorrow). We had a blast cooking and while we are going to celebrate Missy and how wonderful she is we are also super sad because she is irreplaceable :(

So thats the big five day picture binge :)  SOOO looking forward to the long weekend coming :)
